Arcadia is a peaceful, secluded, pet- and handicap-friendly house in Grayton Beach proper. It is ideal for discriminating visitors who are less interested in a raucous beach-front scene than in a truly unique and quiet haven. Walk or bike to the Red Bar, other restaurants, shops and convenience store.
Nice classical touches distinguish this Ted Dial-designed home, surrounded by magnolia, wisteria, pine and oak on a quiet side street. No high traffic roads to cross. Children can safely walk or ride bikes to the beach, approximately 350 yards. Small dogs allowed – pet deposit is required and cannot be waived.
Three bedrooms (including large loft), two full baths plus enclosed shower in interior courtyard. Sleeps eight comfortably. Each downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and attached bath. Large upstairs loft has one full bed and two twins – perfect for kids.
Appealing features include a wide front porch and screened-in back porch, a private enclosed courtyard deck and an even more private second floor sundeck. A long hall offers desk/work space and separates sleeping quarters from the great room.
Arcadia’s great room has a nicely-equipped open kitchen, a large dining table that seats ten, and a cozy living area centered on a working fireplace and TV. French doors open onto an interior courtyard that has another large table and a barbecue grill. Free wireless internet and cable TV. Lots of board games and books.
PLEASE NOTE: No more than two small pets (dogs under 25 pounds, cats, etc.) are allowed, only with advance notice and permission. Exceptions as to size and number of pets can be made only with the rental manager's permission in advance of arrival. A NON-REFUNDABLE PET FEE IS REQUIRED AND CANNOT BE WAIVED. Failure to advise the rental manager of any pets brought into Arcadia can result in immediate termination of the rental agreement and eviction without refund.
